Son of George Joy and Mercy Joy [12120], George was a malster.

Edward was baptised on the 1st May 1681, at St Nicholas Church, Ash.

He married Elizabeth Saunders [10240] on 23 March 1709, at Elmstone, Kent and they had some children.
