Dr. John B. Hardeman served in The Confederate Army as a Sergeant of Co. F of The 55th Infantry. He was captured and sent to Camp Doulgas.
After the War, he was extremely successful not only as a Physician, also as a Merchant.
He married Nancy Jane Smith on Jul. 2, 1863. They were the Parents of The Well Known Nicholas Brodie Hardeman.
