Marshfield — Jeanette Helen Loomis, age 91, of Marshfield, died on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Marshfield Medical Center. Jeanette was born on September 6, 1929, the daughter of Elmo and Adela (Dix) Beauchaine in Marshfield. She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1948. On September 11, 1948 Jeanette was united in marriage to the love of her life Gene Loomis in Nasonville, Wisconsin.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hewitt for many years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, making cookies, going to the park and stopping for ice cream, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the mother hen to many and held as many as she could under her wings.
Jeanette is survived by her loving children; grandchildren; and dear great-grandchildren… Jeanette is also survived by many loving family and friends. She will truly be missed.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents: Elmo and Adela; as well as her dear husband, Eugene; her son, Jim; and her siblings: Eugene, Gerald, and Jim.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the AA & Alanon for being in her life for many years.
In Jeanette's honor the family asks that you donate to a charity of your choosing.
