Nasonville - Services for Mrs. Adela C. Beauchaine, 93, of Northpine Homes, 705 N. Wood Ave., Marshfield, who died at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church, Nasonville.
The Rev. Howard Timmermann will officiate. Mrs. Arlene Meissner will be organist, and Mrs. John Loonstra and daughter, Cindy, will be vocalists.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clifford Dix, Roger and Darwin Ott, Charles Thom, Clarence Weirauch, and Donald Gardner. Honorary pallbearers will be Myron and Earl Dix, John Loonstra, Robert Weis, Richard Nest, and Gerald Reigel.
Visitation will be at the Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield, from 4-9 p.m. Thursday and then at the church after 10 a.m.
Friday.
She was born Sept. 23,1899, in the town of Rock, to the late Charles and Maria (Metzger) Dix. She attended town of Rock schools. After her education, she worked in Marshfield for the Dr. Charles Vedder family until her marriage. She was married to Elmo Beauchaine Oct. 25,1923, in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield, and he died July 8,1983.
After her marriage, she and her husband moved to Chicago, and he was employed by Wisconsin Steel Mills. They then returned to the Nasonville area, the town of Lincoln, and operated a dairy farm and trucking business until 1948. She continued to live in her home until she became a resident of Northpine Homes Dec. 31,1992. She had been a patient at the hospital since Thursday.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid and also was active in other church organizations. She also was a member of the Bakerville Homemakers.
Survivors include three sons; one daughter; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She also was predeceased by one daughter, who died at birth, and four brothers and one grandson, James Loomis.
Memorials may be designated to the memorial fund of Grace Lutheran Church.
