Funeral services for Sanford Wallace Black of Sidon, were conducted by Rev. J. A. Blunt, at William and Lord Funeral Chapel in Greenwood with graveside rites at Bethel Cemetery, on Thursday January 15.

Mr. Black died at University Hospital in Jackson on January 13. He was 62 and a member of the Phillipston Baptist Church at Sidon.

Survivors are his wife, Mr. Clara Dell Pullen Black, of Sidon; two sisters, Mrs. Nannye Brister of Winona; Mrs. Maudie Tanksley of Greenwood; three brothers, Earl Black of Poplar Creek, Bowers and Edgar Black of Huntsville.

Pallbearers were: Bobby Greenlee, Audrey Parkerson, Lester Hunt, Gene Watkins, Lloyd Brister, Charles Fondren, Don Black, and Jerry Hovas.
