KELLER -- Leslie C. Blevins, 73, a retired brake operator for Bell Helicopter, died Monday at home.
Leslie Blevins was born March 19, 1923, in Foard County, Texas. He moved to Keller with his parents in 1938. He married his wife of 50 years on Feb. 25, 1946, after serving 3 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. He retired from Bell Helicopter on April 29, 1983, after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parrish in Keller.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Maurine Whitted, and his parents, Emberson and Esther Blevins.
Survivors: Wife, Iris Blevins of Keller; sons, Michael Blevins of Keller, Rickey Blevins of Arlington and Dale Blevins of Haltom City; daughter, Debra Stuckey of Watauga; brothers, Lloyd Blevins of Keller and Joe M. Blevins of Bunker Hill, Ill.; sisters, Maxine Lindsey of Keller and Louise Rutledge of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
