Born March 8, 1920, in Welsh Run, he was a son of the late Albert E. Angle and Emma K. Niswander.
Mr. Angle was a member of Mount Calvary Tabernacle in Williamson.
He had worked for Schaff Mobile Homes, delivering and setting up mobile homes.
A World War II Navy veteran, he served on the USS Midway.
Surviving are his wife, Alice J. McLaughlin Angle of Greencastle; a son, David E. of Chambersburg; six daughters, Carilyn R. Morgan of Mercersburg, Elizabeth A. Peterson, Mary Lou Washabaugh, Glenda D. Aby and Diane M. Gift, all of Chambersburg, and Martha J. Unger of Williamsport, Md.; seven grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; 10 step great-grandchildren; a sister Elizabeth Yeager off Chambersburg; and two brothers, H. Elmo Angle of Waynesboro and Lester Angle of Welsh Run.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
Funeral service was to be at 10 a.m. today in Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home Ltd., 725 Norland Ave. The Rev. Reuben Egolf was to officiate.
Burial was in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Mount Calvary Tabernacle, 6116 Hager Road, Greencastle.
