Born May 18, 1901, in Montgomery Township, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Niswanger) Angle.
She was a member of the Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, Hagerstown.
Mrs. Buchanan was a former employee of the former Windsor Shoe Co., of Greencastle.
Her husband, Daniel Luther Buchanan, died April 9, 1959.
She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Witter, Thelma Buchanan, Mrs. Joan Zeger, Mrs. Aileen Reeder and Mrs. Nancy Ebersole, all of Greencastle, and Mrs. Phyllis Shetter of Chambersburg; three sons, Harry Buchanan of Mercersburg, and Kenneth Buchanan and Aden Buchanan both of Greencastle; a daughter in law, Barbara Buchanan of Greencastle; four sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Straley of Hagerstown, Mrs. Thelma Arnold of Mercersburg, Mrs. Elizabeth Yeager of Lemasters, and Mrs. Adline Wenger of St. Thomas; four brothers, Albert Angle of Greencastle, Elmo Angle of Waynesboro, Lester Angle of Mercersburg and Glenn Angle of Chambersburg; 29 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, Hagerstown, with the Rev. Stephen Wagoner and the Rev. Stanley Gearhart officiating. Burial will be in the Broadfording Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends at the Minnich-Miller-May Funeral Home, Greencastle from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
