Emile H. Barrette of Surprise, Arizona passed away on October 11, 2021. He was the devoted husband of Jeannine L. Barrette for over 61 years. Born in Woonsocket, R.I. on October 22, 1935, he was the son of the late Noe and Irene (Proulx) Barrette and the brother of 8 sisters and 5 brothers. Emile served in the U.S. Navy as an Admirals Radioman. His career spanned decades as a General Manager for a large construction company in AZ.

Besides his wife he leaves four children; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Emile was a loving giving man that enjoyed spending time with family. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling the world and spending the summer months in Utah with his wife.

In Lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to the Arthritis Foundation and Research for Louie Body Dementia. He will be laid to rest at Sunland Mortuary in Sun City AZ with military honors.
