MRS. ELSIE HATLEY
ALBEMARLE - Mrs. Elie Mae Shoe Hatley, 85, of 217 Church St. died Tuesday at her home.
Funeral will be 3 p.m today at Main Street United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Eugene Dean and the Rev. Harley Dickson officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
She was anative of Stanly County, a former Sunday school teach and president of Women's Society of Christian Service. She a member of Albemarle Chapter N. 71 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Robert Loy of Burlington, Mrs. Horace Cotten and Mrs. J. W. Moore of Albemarle; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Stanly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
