Mrs. Mary Rebecca Blake of Proctor, W. Va., died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday at the Wetzel County Hospital. Born Oct. 13, 1893 in Meighen, Marshall County, she was the daughter of John David and Ella Richmond West. She was married to Newton Blake who survives. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church. Also surviving are six daughters, Mrs. John Gorby, Mrs. Marion Parsons, Mrs. Emory Huggins, Mrs. Robert Edwards, and Mrs. John Estep all of Proctor, and Mrs. Samuel McIntyre of Lakeville, O.; a foster son , Joseph of Proctor; one sister, Mrs. H. G. Dobbs of Moundsville; two brothers; W. H. West of Moundsville and Harley H. of Wheeling; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Friends may call until noon at Iams Funeral Home in New Martinsville. The remains will be taken to the Antioch Church for services at 2 p.m. with Allen Field and W. H. Sliter officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
