Sherry Crane, age 73, of Bloomfield, passed away peacefully at 9:30 am on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Greene County General Hospital. She was born in Switz City, IN on April 26, 1948, the daughter of Robert Leroy & Martha Louise (VanDeventer) Tolen.

She worked in the cafeteria for Bloomington South High School until her retirement. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her son, Edward L. "Butch" Crane, Jr. of Terre Haute; daughter, Tina Crane of Worthington; grandchildren, Travis (Veronica) Crane, Lynsey McCafferty, Ryan (Jessica) Crane, Stacey Kelly, Zach (Haleigh) Bonen and Zane Bonen; great grandchildren, Hailee Crane, Austin Crane, McKayla Crane, Gilberto Jr. Santiago, Jaxon Crane, Michael Witnik, Kynnzleigh Gray, Sarah Simpson, Madalynn Simpson, Aydon Simpson, Maya Simpson and Ella Simpson.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Edward L. Crane, Sr. just 8 days prior; her parents; in-laws, Roy & Joyce Mae (Bruce) Crane; son, Jimmy Joe Crane; siblings, Louis Marie Crane, Katherine Louise Crane, Evelyn Mae Crane Correll, Murl Delmont Crane, Judith Kay Crane Gambil, Vicki Tolen Misner, Dolores Tolen Sparks and Morris Sparks.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington on Saturday, December 4, 2021 with Brian Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Chapel Cemetery in Lyons.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 4:00 -7:00 pm, and on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
