Fannie Petrocchi, age 81, a resident of the DeKalb County Nursing Home and a former resident of DeKalb Avenue died February 22, 1981 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.
She was born July 18, 1899 in Lucca, Italy, the daughter of Vincent and Laura (DiGulio) Cipriani. She was married to Gugiellemo Petrocchi in Calumet, Michigan, July 18, 1915.
Survivors include her husband, Guglielemo; one brother, Donald Cipriani of Joliet; three sisters, Livia Gelli of DeKalb, Rose Wagley of Seminole, Florida and Mary Cipriani of DeKalb; three grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
Fannie was a housewife and a parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church, DeKalb.
Visitation will be at the Ronan-Moore Mortuary, DeKalb from 7-9:00 p.m. Tuesday. A wake service will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
Funeral services will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, DeKalb at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, with Rev. Harold Nilges officiating.
