Thomas J. Power
Thomas J. Power, 56, of 206 Pilgrim Ave., a retired wire worker, died yesterday in St. Vincent Hospital. Born in Worcester, he was a son of the late Thomas E. and Winifred (Brennan) Power. He was an Army veteran of World War I.
Mr. Power was a wire worker at the Worcester plant of U.S. Steel Corp., for 25 years before retiring in 1962.
He leaves four sisters, Miss Helen P. Power and Miss Josephine A. Power, both of Worcester, Margaret, wife of Richard J. Harris of Shrewsbury, and .Mary, wife of Alfred J. Liberty of Atlanta, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday from Callahan Brothers Funeral Home, 36 Trumbull St., with a High Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Stephen's Church
Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
