Caroline was baptised on 26th July 1807 at St Peter & Paul, Eythorne, Kent.
She was a spinster when she married Edward Ede (a widower), on 21st December 1836, at St Peter and Paul, Eythorne, and they had 8 children. Their wedding was witnessed by William Paine and Ellen Ede. Frederick had some children from his previous marriage.

She was living at Eythorne at the time of her death, and she was buried on the 29 October 1885.
