Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Capp Jefferson Barrett and the late Eula Mae Dodson Barrett. She was the widow of the late Rev. Wilburn Louis Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Winona Church of God, where she served in numerous ministries and offices.
Mrs. Jones is survived by three daughters, Carol L. Bracey (Loyd) of Foxworth, Myra M. King (Don) of Winona, and Kathy Burkhalter (Ron) of Purvis; one son, Lewis Allen Jones (Bessie) of Sledge; three sisters, Betty Alford of Morton, Evelyn Musgrove of Vaiden, and Barbara Fant of Walls; three brothers, Capp Jefferson Barrett, Jr., of Elkmont, Alabama,
Harold Barrett of Chalmette, Louisiana, and William Barrett of Morton; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, January 11, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Winona Church of God.
Memorials may be made to the Winona Church of God.
