Barbara June Roby Blaine, 83, of Bardstown, died Monday February 8, 2016 at Life Care Center of Bardstown. She was born May 3, 1932 in New Hope, a homemaker, and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Blaine Sr.; two sons, Charles W. Blaine Jr., and Douglas Blaine; grandson, Travis Wayne Parrott; granddaughter, Amanda Wilkerson; parents, John and Irene Roby; brother, Joseph Michael Roby Sr.; and sister, Agnes Blair. She is survived by four sons, Jimmy (Sherrie) Blaine, Larry Paul Blaine, John "Duke" (Melisa) Blaine, and Glenn (Dottie) Blaine; three daughters, Susie Blaine, Pam Blaine, and Penny Blaine all of Bardstown; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John (Velma) Roby of Louisville, and Tommy (Lottie) Roby of Lebanon; sister, Christine Prewitt of Mt. Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass will be 1:00 pm Thursday February 11, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Rev. Matthew Hardesty will officiate. Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Wednesday February 10 and 9 am to Noon Thursday February 11 at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service will be 7 pm Wednesday. Memorial contributions may go to Masses at Holy Trinity Catholic Church or American Legion Post 157 for Disabled Veterans.
