She was preceded in death by her husband Morris Harms on April 16, 1996. She is survived by her son M. Virgil Harms Jr., daughters Gerrie Patrick & Patty Hoot, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, & 3 great great grandchildren.

She was involved in Campfire Girls, and was a North Seattle Lapidary Club lifetime member. She volunteered for 10 plus years at the Wallingford Senior Center, and was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church.
