Departed this life December 5, 2007, Mrs. Sarah E. Blackwell of Richmond, VA, formerly of Lawrenceville, VA.

She was a retired employee of Phillip Morris USA.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Sylvia R. Blackwell.

She is survived by two daughters, Karen Brown and Marcia E. Trimiew; one son Charles Blackwell Jr.; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; eight sisters; six brothers; two aunts; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; one daughter- in-law, Erica Blackwell; two sons-in-law, Ozell S. Brown and Reginald W. Trimiew Sr.; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and other relatives and friends.

Remains rested at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services were held Monday at 12 noon at Swansboro Baptist Church, 3801 Midlothian Tnpk., where remains laid in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. H. R. Plummer Sr.(Pastor) officiated. Interment occured on Tuesday at St. James Trinity C.M.E. Church Cemetery in Lawrenceville, VA. Family and friends assembled at the church 11:45am Monday.
