Katherine Tyler, 78, of Centerville Court, North Syracuse died Monday at her home after a brief illness. A native of Saskatchewan, Canada, Mrs. Tyler resided in the Syracuse area most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse. Surviving are her husband, Earl G.; a stepson Earl Jr. of Long Island; a son, Albert of Oswego; and seven step-grandchildren. Services will be private. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to North Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Fergerson Funeral Home, North Syracuse, has charge of arrangements.
