NEODESHA — Miss Georgia Leoma Banning, 54, died Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Wilson County Hospital after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. She had been ill nine days.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Loren Fawcett Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Daetwiler, pastor of the Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Round Mound cemetery near Wauneta, Kan.
Miss Banning was born on June 5, 1906, at Sedan. She came to the Neodesha vicinity in 1931 and moved to Neodesha in 1939.
Survivors include the mother, Mrs. Sarah Banning, of the home, three sisters, Mrs. Eula Pumpelly, Wichita, Mrs. Goldie Crew, Winfield, and Mrs. Edith Reed, Peru; three brothers, Lonzo Banning, Elk City, Luther Banning and Boyd Banning both of this city. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
