Alene Ellis, 80, of Prattsville passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022. She was born October 21, 1941, in Emmett, AR the daughter of the late Jasper and Dorothy Mae Buck Langley. Alene was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church. She was close to all the children in her community. She loved being a grandmother, shopping, flowers, and fishing in her pond. She is preceded in death by her father, Jasper Langley; mother, Dorothy Mae Buck Merritt; husband, whom she married on November 30, 1957, Raymond Carl Ellis; son, Jimmy Albert Ellis; sisters, Carlene Lawson, Olene LeGrande and Christene Langley; brother, Wayne Langley and stepfather, Huey Merritt
