Please join us in celebrating the life of Bambi Adams on Wednesday, October 26, at 2 p.m. in the Medford Auditorium. Rev. Greg Clinage will officiate. Interment will follow in McKeeman-Fairview Cemetery. Visitation for Bambi will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Pond Creek on Tuesday, October 25, from 6-8 p.m.
Bambi was born to John and MaryAnn Adams in Wakita, Oklahoma, on March 21, 1977. Bambi was baptized in the First Christian Church in Medford. She attended Medford Public Schools where she later graduated from in 1995. She continued her education at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, where she later received her Nursing degree. Preceding her graduation, Bambi welcomed her children, Cooper John (1997) and Jaicee Brooke (1999). Later, she welcomed her third child, Addison Lee (2004). Throughout her years of being an emergency room Registered Nurse, she selflessly cared for a multitude of strangers, friends, and family. She was passionate about helping others in need. In her 22 years of nursing, she exemplified what it means to have compassion and love for those who need it.
Bambi dedicated her life to her career, all while raising three children. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother. She enjoyed following all three children around the state to watch them participate in their sporting events. She loved her children immensely and never missed an opportunity to cheer them on.
No matter how near or far, Bambi enjoyed road trips and vacations with her family. Her love for her family shined bright during the holidays, for she loved having her home filled with loved-ones. Decorating the Christmas tree with her kids brought her incredible joy every year. Her love for life and spontaneity was felt by all those around her.
Bambi was a beloved daughter, dedicated sister, proud and graceful mom, but her most recent and favorite role was being GramBam to Baylor John. She loved her grandbaby immensely, and she spoiled him any chance she could.
Bambi was truly a light in the lives of so many. She did not have many bad days, but as they came she possessed the gift of finding the good. She was constantly worrying about and taking care of others. In any situation, Bambi offered a sense of calmness to others. She had a way of fixing problems that, at the time, felt unfixable to others. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her generous spirit knows how greatly she will be missed.
Bambi was an inspiration to many during her battle against Malignant Melanoma. With a faith the size of a mustard seed, she tackled every day head-on. Throughout her battle, she never complained. She persevered against every obstacle, and she continued to make sure everyone else was taken care of. As all warriors deserve, Bambi now rests pain-free in the arms of Jesus. She is preceded in death by her sister, Angi Adams - Memorial #179902200.
