Died, March 7, at 10 a.m., at the family residence on North Grand Avenue, of kidney and liver trouble, George Schnirring, aged 69 years, 2 months and 17 days. Mr. Schnirring was born in Bonlander, Wuertemberg, Germany, and came to this country 43 years ago, settling in Pennsylvania, where he lived eight years. He then moved near this city and has lived here for 35 years. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife Mrs. Elizabeth Schnirring, and five daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Keil, Mrs. Barbara Ihlenfeldt, Mrs. Kate Stoeckel, Mrs. Mary Wolff and Mrs. Lena Green, all residing in this city and township, besides two brothers and two sisters, Christian M. Schnirring of this city, Mathias Schnirring of Decatur, and Mrs. Adam Reisch of this city, and Mrs. Barbara Loux, who still resides in Germany. The funeral will occur Tuesday from the late residence.
