She was born September 18, 1930 in Leopold, MO, daughter of the late Henry and Matilda (Koenig) Thele. .
Evelyn was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Hematite. She greeted everyone with a smile and a loving and caring personality; she loved. spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Survived by her loving family which includes sons, Mark W. (Susan) Conner of Festus and Anthony (Renee) Shinkle of Festus, daughter, Patricia (David) Faerber of Festus, grandchildren, Darrell (Ami) Faerber, Chad (Liz) Faerber, Shaun Shinkle, Ryan (Shelly Price) Conner, Alan (Robin) Conner and Cody (Jessica Kawelaske) Conner, great-grandchildren, Andrew Faerber, Allison Faerber, Emma Hamlet-Faerber, Wade Conner, Kinsley Conner, Kolton Conner and Finn Conner, brothers, Robert Thele and Kenneth Thele, sister, Judy Stause.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Thele, mother, Matilda (Koenig) Thele, husband of 62years, Donald Conner, brothers, William Thele, Richard Thele, Jacob Thele, John Thele and Harry Thele, sisters, Marcella Jentsch, Juletta Thele, Gerlene Trentham and Imogene Carter.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 221 Brierton Lane, Festus with funeral service to immediately follow at 11:00 am.
Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
