Caroline was the last of five children of Andrew and Rebecca Jane Burris Barnett. She appears with her family as an 8-year-old in the 1860 census enumerated on 23 June in Washington Township, Washington County, Indiana. This is the only document I have found that records her. She is not in the census of 1870 as Carolie Barnett and either had married by then or, more likely, had died after 1860 and before 1870. Her exact burial place s not known but her parents are buried here.
