Graveside services were held at the Masonic Cemetery.
He was survived by a daughter, Carol Rogers of Las Cruces; four sisters: Annie Staples and Sidney Nicks, both of Long Beach, CA; Ruth Merritt of Paradise Valley, CA, and Elizabeth Jameson of Pueblo, CO, a brother, George Chittick of Long Beach; and seven grandchildren.
