BIO OF MYRTLE GRAY ABERCROMBIE

Myrtle Gray was born June 14, 1873.

In 1900, Myrtle was listed as the wife of John Henry Abercrombie, on the census. The couple made their home in Dickson with their three children; a daughter named Clara (6), and sons Lee Roy (4) and Francis A. (2).

In 1910, the family continued to resided in Dickson, and listed in the home was John Henry, Myrtle, and children; Clara A (15), Fancis A (11), Annie B (9), Bonnie Velma (7), Homer (5), and Albert (2). Also residing in the home was her mother-in-law, Rebecca.

In the 1920 census, John Henry and Myrtle continued to reside in Dickson, with his mother and children; Annie B (19), Bonnie Velma (16), Homer (14), and Albert A (12).

Myrtle passed away on January 13, 1937 in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was buried in the Tennessee City Cemetery next to her husband, John Henry.
