Miss Sara K. Allison
Miss Sarah Kathryn Allison, 67, formerly of St. Marys, W. Va., died today at 9:45 a.m. in the home of her brother, Ralph Allison, of near Newell. Miss Allison came to Hancock county about six months ago when she became ill. She was born in St. Marys, where she spent virtually her lifetime. She leaves another brother, William of St. Marys, and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Pritchett of East Liverpool. The body was taken to the Arner Funeral Home in Chester where friends may call tonight. It will be taken Saturday to St. Marys for funeral services and burial.

Miss Sarah Katherine Allison, daughter of Jonathan and Alice Allison was born March 24, 1882, and died June 17, 1949, age 67 years, 2 months and 24 days. Death being due to heart trouble. Kate, as she was known to her many friends had been in failing health for the past several years, gradually getting worse. Last December she was taken to the home of her brother, Ralph Allison where she remained until her death. Surviving is another brother, Wm Allison at home near St. Marys; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Pritchett of East Liverpool, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. The body was brought to the Ruttencutter Funeral Home in St. Marys, Saturday, June 18. Burial was made in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
