He was born on October 23, 1915 at Olivet, SD, later moving to Billings, MT, where he received his education. He married Myrtle (Betty) Loken on July 16, 1941 at Columbus, MT, and they made their home in Billings, MT.
Mr. Bonk worked for Northern Pacific Railroad for 33 years. They moved to Wenatchee, WA in 1983.
He was an Air Force veteran of WW11, and a member of American Legion Post No. 10, Wenatchee.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle, at home; one daughter, Janice Ivanovitch, of Billings, MT; a brother, Henry Bonk, of Billings; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
At his request, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley.
** Cremation took place. Ashes were brought to Billings, MT. Burial was in Mountview Cemetery.
