Isabelle Morrissey, 96, of Wichita, grandmother of Jeffrey Dodds of Park City, died Nov. 21, 2006. Service was Nov. 25 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Parsons. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 29, 1910, in Parsons, the daughter of Daniel and Isabelle Buddenhagen Harris. She attended Valley rural school and graduated from Parsons High School in 1928. She attended Parsons Junior College. She married George K. Morrissey on April 12, 1945, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Parsons. He preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 1982. She worked at Raymond's Grocery Store and the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant. She was a member of the church and altar society and a former member of the quilters' guild. She enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Memorials have been established with the church and St. Patrick School, in care of Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Box 942, Parsons, KS 67357.
