Mrs. Daniel Webster Harris, 86, died today in her home at 231 Broadway. She had been in failing health for several years and in a critical condition for the past week. She was born Isabell Ann Buddenhagen in Ladore Township northwest of Parsons on May 31, 1871. She was married to Daniel Webster Harris in the home of her parents Sept. 29, 1896. They lived on a farm in the Valley Community area until moving to the present residence thirteen years ago. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Washington Avenue Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of the home and five daughters, Mrs. Leonard Hall (Agnes) and Mrs. George Morrissey (Isabelle) of Parsons; Mrs. C. R. Smith (Edda) of Mount Carroll, Ill.; Mrs. Lester Hanna (Evelyn) of Maryville, Mo., and Miss Ethel Harris of the home; two sons, Albert Harris of Los Angeles, and Clarence Harris of North Hollywood, Calif. Other survivors include seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Three brothers, a son and a sister preceded her in death. Funeral arrangments are incomplete pending arrival of relatives. The body will lie in state at the Washburn-Blossom Funeral Home.
