Martha Butler, 81, of Troy died June 11, 2011, at Union City Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cryer Funeral Home in Obion, with the Rev. Terry English officiating. Burial will follow in Elbridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Keith Walker, Vernon Harrell, Jamie Fagan, Robert Everett, Mark Butler and Bubba Harrell.
She was born Nov. 6, 1929, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Elihue and Ethel (Tranham) Donnell. She had been a seamstress at the former Salant & Salant in Obion.
She is survived by two daughters, Gennese Johnson of Union City and Brenda Reynolds of Troy; two sisters, Betty Harrell and Bessie Butler, both of Troy; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers.
