Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Brown Funeral Chapel for Clyde Rhines, 74, 415 Jackson street, who died at 3:15 p.m. Friday in the Veterans hospital in Oklahoma City. Rev. Ester Bass, pastor of the Assembly of God, will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.
Rhines was born Aug 19, 1912 in Skiatook, grew up in Perry and attended schools here. He was married to Anna Criswell Oct 26, 1950 in Perry.
Rhines was a painter and paperhanger. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the American Legion and Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters, Susan Scholvanec and Clydene Rhines of Perry, and Charlotte Jacobs of Dallas; three sons, Rocky Rhines, Dallas; Kenneth Criswell, Perry and Jerry Criswell, Edwardsville, Kans.; two sisters, Myree Stephans and Sammy Spradlin, both of Perry; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death.
