Myree Stephens, 92, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away June 2nd, 2011 at Perry Memorial Hospital.

Graveside Services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., June 7, 2011 at the Pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, Oklahoma. Officiant will be Reverend Clydene Williams, Myree's niece.

Myree was born November 4, 1918 in Kansas. Her parents were Samuel Rhines and Susie (Berger) Rhines.

She was married to Emil Ray Stephens on September 12,1940.

Myree worked as a case worker for Community Action and the Perry Senior Citizens. She enjoyed taking afternoon rides with her niece Clydene. Her special interests included growing flowers, sewing and reading. One of her greatest joys in life was visiting with her granddaughter, Hailey Egerer and great-granddaughters Anna Myree, and Emma-Sue Grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, one brother, and two great-great grandchildren.

Myree is survived by three sons, Kenny and Wilma Stephens, Hominy, OK, Tommy Stephens and Danny Lee Stephens both of Perry, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; three nieces and five nephews.
