Edith Beckman Vela
LODI, Dec. 8 - Funeral services will be held tomorrow in Antioch for Mrs. Edith Beckman Vela, 67, who lived in Lodi all her life before moving to Antioch 2 years ago.
Mrs. Beckman died Monday in an Antioch hospital after suffering a heart attack.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Retha Amaral, and a son, Monroe Haver, both of Antioch; 3 brothers, Charles and Eugene Beckman, both of Lodi, and Albert of Stockton, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Tucker, Stockton. She also was the sister of the late Lula Thompson of Lodi.
Rites will be conducted at 10 a.m. in the Higgins Funeral Parlor. Interment will be in Santa Cruz.
