Sophie P. Kruszka, 98, of Coldwater, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Laurels of Coldwater. A private burial of ashes will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bronson.

Sophie was born June 22, 1923 in Chicago, IL to Anthony & Angeline (Wajner) Killian. She married Raymond S. Kruszka on February 20, 1940 in Bronson. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2005.

Mrs. Kruszka was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She worked for Bronson Reel for many years, the Coldwater Regional Center and the former Roberts Motors in Bronson. Sophie attended St. Mary of Assumption Church and enjoyed oil painting, sewing and crafts. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Sophie is survived by her children Dorothy (Harold) Card of Camden, Marilyn (Milton) Meyer of Colon, her brother Richard Killian of Bristol, IN, 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Janet Kruszka; 6 sisters and 3 brothers.
