WILLOWS - A memorial service for Florence V. Shorey, 85, of Willows, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Chico Church of Religious Science.
She died Friday, Oct. 1, 1993, in Willows.
Mrs. Shorey was born Sept. 22, 1908, in Traver to Levi and Florence Bollinger.
In 1951 she moved to Chico from Glendora, and settled in Willows in 1984.
She was a member of the church and enjoyed the arts, gardening, sewing and cooking,
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Pooley of Willows; a son Harvey Cumming of Oroville; and 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grand- children and six great-great-grand- children.
Memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity, in care of the Neptune Society of Chico, which is handling the arrange- ments.
