The daughter of the late William Andrew Harris and the late Mary Salethia Davis Harris, she was a native of Chickasaw County. She was a retired school teacher having taught in Mississippi and Louisiana Public Schools.
Suvivors include one daughter, Grace Clark of New Orleans,LA and two grandchildren.
