Son of Eleazer & Elizabeth (Seymour) Boughton. Married Abigail Penoyer on October 12, 1749 in Stamford, CT. Father of Hezekiah Jr., Enos, Selleck, Jared, Seymour, Abigail Smith, Sally Ketchum and Theodosia Sawyer. Part of Hezekiah's property was called Boughton Hill. He donated that part of his land for a cemetery which kept the name Boughton Hill. Served in the Revolutionary War.
