Obituary printed in the Thursday, April 8, 1948 edition of the Tulsa Tribune on page 4. "Mrs. Nannie Blevins, Tulsan 26 Years, Dies - Mrs. Nannie Mabel Blevins, 59, 117 N. Phoenix av., a 26-year resident of Tulsa., died early today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Phillips, 814 W. Archer av., after suffering a stroke four days ago. A native of Missouri, Mrs. Blevins lived in Stillwater before she moved to Tulsa. She is survived by her husband, O. W. Blevins, a local interior decorator. Mrs. Blevins, also is survived by three sons, Ivan Chandler, Vinita; Clifford Chandler, Emporia, Kan., William Chandler, 1814 N. Birmingham av.; two other daughters, Mrs. George Turner, Emporia, and Mrs. Robert Rank, San Pedro, Cal.; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, W. H. Offut (sic), Thirteenth street and Troost avenue; Earl Offut (sic), and Carl Offut (sic), both of 1359 N. Denver av., and four sisters, Mrs. Ace Abbott, Lake Tahoe, Cal.; Mrs. Bulah McKee, Mrs. Alma Wells and Mrs. Alice Graham, all of Bakersfield, Cal. The Tulsa Funeral home is in charge."
