Lucy Emily Strohmeier, 99, of Riverside, California was born on February 9, 1892 in Kiowa and died on April 17, 1991 at West Care Nursing Home in Riverside. She was a daughter of Walter and Lucy (Humphrey) Brannan. Lucy married Eduard Strohmeier on June 20, 1909 in Cherokee, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1934. She moved to Riverside in 1938 and was a member of Eden Lutheran Church. She is survived by her son, Roy Strohmeier of Cherry Valley, California; her daughters, Estelle Snead of Kiowa, and Katherine Farney and Edna Mae Broadlick, both of Riverside; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow in Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Charles Fisch officiating. Memorials may be made to Kiowa Congregational United Church of Christ. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
