Joseph Robert Bullock Sr., 79, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003, after a brief illness. Visitation is 4:30-8 p.m. today. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Stringer Funeral Home in Crystal Springs with burial in Crystal Springs City Cemetery.
Mr. Bullock was preceded in death by Ruth Bullock.
He was survived by three children, Joey Bullock of Crystal Springs, Sharron B. Gowen of Brunswick, GA., and Melinda B. Landreth of Alabaster, AL; four grandchildren, Michael A. Gowen and Glynda K. Gowen of Brunswick, GA., and Bailey and Zandry Bullock of Crystal Springs; one great-grandchild, Austin A. Gowen of Brunswick, GA., and three sisters, Lola Milling of Ocala, FL., Mary McHenry of Madison and Ina Mae Duncan of Vicksburg.
Mr. Bullock is retired from Penrod Drilling and had a local lawn care business. He was well known in the area.
