Mrs. McHenry was a member of First Baptist Church in Crystal Springs. She resided in Crystal Springs for 40 years before moving to Madison to live with her daughter. For many years she worked in the garment industry and later in a retail store.
Mrs. McHenry was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd T. McHenry, Sr.
She is survived by son, Floyd J. McHenry of Ocala, Fla., and Glen L. McHenry of Tacoma, Wash.; daughter, Mary Ellen McHenry and Bettie J. McHenry Fijistra both of Ridgeland, Helen D. Fortenberry of Brandon and Diane I. Bufkin of Madison; sister, Lola Milling of Orlando, Fla.; grandsons, Sean and Michael McHenry, Ashley and Justin Bufkin; granddaughter, Tonja Fortenberry Burghard; great-granddaughter, Lily Burghard; four step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
