She was born November 25, 1917, in East Lynn, Illinois, daughter of Adam J. and Elizabeth A. Frank Knapp. She married Aaron Dreyer on May 16, 1942, at Reno, Nevada, He died December. 9, 1996.
Surviving are one daughter, Cheryl (Jerry) DeVito, three brothers, Charles (Jeanne) Knapp, Ralph (Verena) Knapp, and Wayne (Delores) Knapp, two sisters-in-law, Mary Knapp, and Doris Knapp, three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her parents and two brothers, Melvin and Earl Knapp, preceded her in death.
She attended the Apostolic Christian Church. She retired from Miller Door Co. in 1980 and was a self-employed bookkeeper for many years.
