He is the son of my ancestors Charles Ingram Helms (Sr) and his wife Elizabeth J. (Adkison/Adkinson or perhaps Beasley) He was their eleventh child. His father, Charles Ingram Helms, Sr. is the person who built and ran the mill (down at the end of this road) on Yellow River that gave Millier's Bluff its name.
