Mary Sue Sechrest, 83, Route 1, Bridgeport, died about 4:25 a.m. today Tuesday, October 8, at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville.
Born July 22, 1913 Petty Township, Lawrence County, she was a daughter of Garfield and Katheryn Shidler Cessna. She was a homemaker and member of Island Free Methodist Church.
She was married to Henry Sechrest and he survives. Other survivors include two son, Arthur Sechrest, Bloomington, and Dean Sechrest Bridgeport; two sisters, Alice Jerrell, Bridgeport, and Lola Gasper, Sumner, six grandchildren, and three great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
