Levi Lawrence was the fourth child of Levi E. and Josephine Snouffer Byers. He and his twin brother, Francis H., were born January 17, 1888. In 1914 he married Mamie Mae Frey and together they had four children: Francis, Charles, Earl and Helen. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Mary Mamie Lookenbill and Bessie C. Withers; and three brothers: Charles Henry, Frank. H., and Philip M. He is survived by his wife and four children.
