Mrs. Carolyn Mock Ratliff Aldridge, 76, died suddenly Monday (June 30, 2008) in Belize.
She was a native of Waycross and has resided here most of her life. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Earl Luther Aldridge and Clarence Ratliff; her parents, George Lee Mock and Grace Louise Roberson Mock. She was the owner of Frog Pond Nursery in Waresboro. She was a member of the Waresboro United Methodist Church and the Sojourners of Winona Park United Methodist Church. She was a volunteer for the White House and for the public schools.
The survivors include two daughters, Lynn Cromer (husband Bill) of Sylvester and Kim Music (husband Tim) of Waycross; two sons, Michael Ratliff (wife Lynn) of Nashville, TN and Lawrence Ratliff of Atlanta; seven grandchildren, Nikkie Music of Waycross, Timmy Music of Waycross, Stephen Music of Savannah, Rachel Ratliff of Littleton, CO, Luke Ratliff of Littleton, CO, Derrick Cromer of Sylvester and Dena Cromer of Albany; two sisters, Lucy Minchew and Sandy Baisden (husband Johnny) both of Waresboro; a brother, Johnny Mock (wife Pat) of Waycross; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later. Music Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
