Funeral Services Tuesday For Mrs. B. Lowe:
Mrs. Barbara Lowe 91 died Saturday, May 28 at the Pine Grove Nursing Home in Soldiers Grove. The nursing home is operated by Mrs. Lowe's granddaughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Olson. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Gays Mills Methodist Church, the Rev. Kenneth Barnes officiating. Burial was in the Gays Mills Cemetery.
Mrs. Lowe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Coleman, was born near Bell Center April 5, 1869. She married Merritt Lowe December 25, 1886. Her husband died in 1937.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. George (Hazel) Leist Elroy, with whom Mrs. Lowe lived for 22 years; two sons John, La Crosse; and Fred, Soldiers Grove ; one sister, Mrs. Roy Lightfoot, Brainerd, Minn., 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great- grandchildren.
